On the importance of acceptance over tolerance

I think there’s quite a big difference between the two (tolerance and acceptance). I think when you say you tolerate, you don’t quite like it, but you accept it because you have no choice. But if you talk in terms of acceptance, it indicates a state of mind that you are embracing something positively. I think it’s important for us to migrate from this concept of mere tolerance to acceptance. Acceptance in the sense that you are ready to accept things. If you’re willing to accept things, if you embrace things willingly, then I think your capacity to look at things in a more positive manner is much better than mere tolerance.

I think that’s important because then you don’t have any baggage and you’re not weighed down by any negative pre-conceived notions and you’re willing to look at the best the person can offer. This is what we require for Malaysia. We have to get the best of the Malays, the best of the Chinese, the best of the Indians, the best of the others and mold them together so that collectively we’ll be much bigger than the sum of the individuals.

The forming of the singularity as we know it now as 1Malaysia has been in place for since the end of 2008 when our right honourable Prime Minister Najib took over the office. it is undeniable that the concept itself is well in the quorum of a country. I could not help but to wonder part of his speech above stating the obvious that this country or it’s countrymen has yet to fathom the concept of being a country. It took one 46 years until the speech to realised on the lack in the mindset of the people on being in a singularity of a country.

In history, the formation of a country has often enough comes after a revolutions or wars. This focused the mindset of the people to one objective and thus form the singularity which will eventually leads to a country. However, that does not happen here in Malaysia.

I am taking reference of a similar but smaller country – Brunei – as example. Brunei, like Malaysia took the path of less resistance to form the country. The difference is in the Monarchy system which Brunei adopted. In Brunei, everything is focused on the Palace. Everything is about the Palace and what the Palace wants. Of course the King knew better that he need to reciprocate back to his people the honour they have given by giving him eminence position of the state.

Here in Malaysia, the singularity is hardly seen as there was no precedence of forming a singularity prior to 1Malaysia. The so called social contract is establish to address the co-existence of the different races here in Malaysia. It is liken to glue that bind the many pieces together to look like a complete object. Essentially it is just the bonding link in-between and thus the “mere-tolerace” mentioned in the speech depicted that the is this unwritten acceptance that bind the pieces together.

In-order to be fused into one, the concept of acceptance came in to play. The process of fusion make objects into an inseparable singularity. The country, a depiction of singularity in this case, should be able to fuse all it’s people together to make them into a singularity.

Though fancies are the mind of people, some would have the mind of the mass against the few. A Chinese idiom said “Green came out of Blue and surpasses blue”. It is showing that that the mass cannot be the focus as they are all spread. only those few that is out of the ordinary will be noticed.

I do see that the context of putting one part of the singularity above another is breaking the singularity and you can only count the singularity as 1, no more than 1 and no less than 1 as every component is fused (mold) together. The theory of emergence splat the terms used above where “the whole is greater than the sum of the parts” It is fusion and not bondage that the above speech is addressing.

The wayward of making distinct one from the mass is against the concept of 1Malaysia. If something else is put in eminence to the commonality of the singularity. the singularity will not exist as emergence could not be form with flaws and break the Entropy.

The entropy in the singularity is the one that found and fuses components together in a closed system. This entropy exist in the common environment influenced by the temperature and unit of energy. In a country as singularity, the temperature is liken to the political scenarios in the country, Any change of these temperature will cause the entropy process to change, decision made by the core/driver of the singularity is liken to these change.

On the other hand, the movement induced by energy of any of the component fused together will also causes the change in their properties and break the singularity. If one component would like to move around within the singularity, it causes the shift in the entropy. As such, movement that described above in the Chinese idiom will cause this change and change the equation to the singularity.

My take on the subject on singularity on this country is that the country should be a coherence system in entropy, Any change in any of the coherence equation will tilt the equilibrium and causes the thermodynamics of the singularity to change its fashion of presentation in emergence and shift to the entropy in this singularity.

I do hoped that the stability will continue as it will need a thermal fusion to recycle the emergence whereby the current singularity will be broken under the rule of entropy to allow fusion of a new singularity.
